David W. Lippy – Managing Partner / Co-Founder
David Lippy began his professional career as a Legislative Assistant working in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives while attending Georgetown University. His consulting career began by working on classified projects for the U.S. Air Force at the Rand Corporation in Santa Monica, California.
After completing his graduate work at Tufts University and his post-graduate work at Harvard, David began his own consulting firm in Boston focusing on the Aerospace and Defense industries. During his tenure, the company opened offices in Japan, Germany, Italy and Israel.
Clients included every major aerospace and defense contractor in the U.S. including the U.S. Defense Department, White House, National Security Council, U.S. Department of State and NASA. David and his team had a division that took several companies public as part of their venture capital work.
Before starting Effective Global Communications, David was the President of the World of Children Awards, the equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize for children’s advocates. David’s mentor Dr. Harry Leibowitz is the Founder of this international non-profit organization.
For the past two decades David’s specialty has been working on marketing, strategic planning and business development with both turn-around and start–up companies. For the past fifteen years he has focused his efforts on the emerging streaming media industry with a specialized interest in applying this new medium to both marketing and communications.

Bill has over 30 years of marketing, IT and managerial experience, and is the Managing Partner of Pittsburgh SEO. With deep expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing positioning,
Bill’s focus is on helping sites appear on Page 1 in Google, Yahoo! and Bing, and, moreover, maximizing the conversion of visitors to sales. He is a recognized expert in website planning, design and development, social media, email newsletters, blogs and online surveys.
Bill has founded multiple companies, including PositionLab, a marketing consultancy focused on positioning small to mid-sized companies. He has lectured on three continents, and served as CEO, Marketing Executive, Software Product Manager, Third Party Alliances Manager, and created two consulting practices.
