Creating Hometown Heros for Print, Radio, TV

Pam Lippy was our first “client.” Over time, we were able brand her in both Cleveland, Columbus, and Boca Raton as a hometown hero. Below you can see the bio we created for her. And the links demonstrate the good things that happen when you combine talent with coordinated media outreach.

Pam Lippy Bio

Pam Lippy also known as “Coach Pam” is a USPTA teaching tennis professional in both Tennis and Pickleball. Lippy was raised in Beachwood, Ohio. She is the eldest of 4 siblings and credits sibling rivalry for her grit, persistence and determination. Athletic from a young age, Lippy did not take up tennis until her 16th birthday.

During the late 70’s she developed into Beachwood High School’s all – time best tennis player. She also became a popular figure in the Cleveland newspapers as she evolved into an overnight force, playing #1 singles with an undefeated winning streak. Pam’s impressive High School record earned her a full tennis scholarship and a place on the courts of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Lippy continued her athletic achievements at Flagler College competing in both singles and doubles play. Pam compiled an astonishing collegiate record and was named All-American in 1984 and 1985. She put Flagler College in the national spotlight on and off the court when she was extensively interviewed and quoted in a Sports Illustrated article. Upon her graduation from College, Pam was the number one ranked player in NAIA for both singles and doubles.

In 2009 Pam made her first entrance onto the international scene. She qualified for the USA Maccabiah Team winning 2 gold medals in both singles and mixed doubles. Lippy has often represented the Midwest in national tournaments and continues to share her tennis passion as a teaching professional and coach. Upon her move to Columbus, she launched the JCC Mighty Mite Tennis bringing her gift to 1000s of preschoolers. Pam was the director of the JCC tennis program for children and adults for over 20 years.

For the past 15 years. Pam has been the head teaching professional at The New Albany Links Country Club. And for the past 5 seasons, Pam has steadily grown the number of children and adults playing both Pickleball and Tennis.

In January of 2024 Pam competing in the Senior Pro division won the Boca Raton Pickler’s Survivor Challenge. As a result she was drafted into the 12 team National Pickleball League by the Boca Raton Picklers. In October of 2024 Pam’s team won the league championship against the Columbus Hotshots.

Pam’s achievement in tennis have landed her in the Columbus JCC Hall of Fame and she was also inducted into the Flager College Hall of Fame.

In August of 2025 Pam was drafted into the US Senior Pro (women+men 50 plus years of age) Legends Pickleball League by the DMV Picklers (DC, Maryland & Virginia). Match play begins in September and will culminate in the championship matches among the 12-team league in January of 2026. Pam was a designated “protected player” in advance of the draft where over 200 pickleball players hoped to be drafted after participating in a combine held in Richmond, Virginia.
